a walk down memory lane...

it's the time of the year where every possible tree-pulp produced material (maybe others) undergoes combustion in an exothermic nature releasing hydrocarbon substances whether in solid or gas form to the atmosphere forming clouds later condensed into lite drizzling rain.. Everytime, mainly the cultural tradisional way of the chinese to remember the dead.. fake paper clothes and shoes some branded "Polo", waxed "jade" bangles, paper folded "golden" earing/necklace, printed paper "Rolex" watches, hell "money notes" printed "The Hell Bank Corporation" on the bottom if I recalled properly said to bribe the guards or something.. paper glued pieces of cars branded "Porche" (laughable).. Annoying and humouring at the same time LoL.. the smells of the smoke, and sounds of fire crackers and the fact of having to hike down a few miles on a steep landscape to reach the spot is obsurd.. ruined my shoes and smeared some red stuff on my shirt.. the only thing that keeps me going to the graveyard every single year is the small atomic particle-sized chance to meet this st.theresa friend of mine, a preeetty gurl, also my ex-taekwonDo friend and a few distance relatives and long-time-no-see friends.. Yeaps, AT the cemetry, the irony of it..

from my perspective, initially it was meant to be the day to walk down memory lane recalling ur loved ones who "crossed-over"..

I guess the chinese has a thing for exaggeration.

Taking monday tomorrow as a day off for people who got lower than 40 for their results, positive thinking.. no offense to the smart ones, I doubt they would be.. it's the annual "Hari Pelajar Cemerlang" award distributing day.. I may not be receiving it, but I certainly don't mind being absent for it.
