What I don't get it is WHY some people thinks that it symbolises homosexuality? Pathetic really. Who are we to decide what is normal and what is abnormal? and since when guidelines existed to show what is acceptable and what is not? After much rebutting on this issue which I'm sick and tired of each and every time I'm being asked to my defense, I might as well just claim to BE gay next time, too lazy to speak to small minds of intolerance and inflexibility.
take the days and the hours
souvenir Eiffel Towers
throw them up in the air
watch them fall
well, the ground underneath
and the air that you breathe
is it all that's keeping you alive?
when your friends can't be found
take a walk into town
do the buildings and cops
make you smile?
i saw you in the shops
in the scarf that i bought
which you wore like a bandage
on your heart
This entrancing and sluggish song is from a band called Bedroom Walls. First time I heard it was on one of the series from "The 4400" and I fell in love with it. Check out their site here to download a sample or here for lyrics for more of their music.
