during the semester break

My life now is only sustained by movies, strolls, food, sleep and the internet. I swear I'm so bored that I could go crazy literally just by doing nothing, it scares me.

The workshop we attended during this special semester should've been done BEFORE the actual first year semester or included during the first year subjects so we could actually get our hands on the equipments and apparatus with an actual idea on how to operate them, I mean imagine having to bake a cake without knowing how to operate an oven? absurd right? It was during the workshop now that I realized and found out why exactly my experiments gone wrong for the majority of the experiments.. Speaking of the questionable education system in our university, u gotta hear this, all students staying in the vicinity of their respective college apartments are required to WEAR long pants whenever we're leaving the apartments, and to make things more ridiculous, this regulation applies ONLY during the night.. the stupid reason the security guard gave us was that the name change from KUTKM to UTeM should be aligned with student ethics and dress code, so wearing long tracksuits or trackbottoms with T-shirt and slippers is supposed to reflect ethics and "mengharumkan nama universiti" compared with short cargo pants and a simple T-shirt with slippers? puh-leezz lah, you be the judge.

Anyway, got back from a 2 days 1 night trip to Genting Highlands with a few of my coursemates and being legally 21 this month I finally had my fair chance of going into the casino for the first time LEGALLY! yeah baby..! however, lost RM30 bucks though.. Guess lady luck don't go for beginners..

This morning, went for a stroll around Hang Li Po's well, Bukit China, the Portugese Settlements and a few places in Malacca and ended up with a sun burn, no thanks to the sun and the bike rides..

Can't wait to watch pirates of the caribbean, I'll be posting again soon...

21

Well, yea.. I turned 21 and it's that time of the year where I pretty much survived through with prozac, alcohol with a little shot of marijuana (I was kidding about the last two, maybe the first hehe).

I was at KL for a few days during the semester break and had an all-you-can-eat steamboat buffet dinner at sunway (the best food cheap money can buy, I swear) today with kennedy and siew siew and a few friends as the couples will be leaving to kuching the next day. Chee Khoon and the gang deliberately sang a birthday song in front of the other steamboat-ers, it was embarassing at first but yea it was funny..

the love birds

Read through the entries I wrote the last two years here and here on the 4th of May and especially the most memorable one was that time owing all to my buddy kenneth. I realized each entry sounded like a suicidal note or a failed attempt to put manic depression patients into shame. I think I've come to my senses now that birthdays aren't really anything significant, it's just a date. I just think of it as a mark to evaluate my life, the changes, the improvements, the ups and downs that sorta thing, and setting goals for myself so I could have a better life..

I have secrets, I have goals, I have urges and desires, I have hate, I have everything a person could ever have, but I don't own my life. I feel that living is really just more than being honest to other people but most importantly honest to ourselves. Till this year, I'm actually pretty content about myself as I've opened up to a few of my friends and being honest to them while being honest to myself bit by bit... No regrets...

Will be going for an extra semester this semester break for two months up till end of june or beginning of july and a few weeks break before the 2nd year semester starts, so it would be pointless to go back kuching and come back malacca again considering short period of break time I have.

Leaving for malacca tomorrow..
