2005

I've just realised something weirdly bizzare.. last night, I was typing the post "blank brain" below under severe drowsiness because I was too sleepy and could hardly lift my eyelids up.. then just now while I was visiting my blog, I realised some sentences I had NO, I repeat NO memory of recalling that I typed it.. what's even weird is that the "anomaly sentences" were in complete form with no grammatical errors and couldn't make sense to the previous sentence.. something like "my name is you'll be a free man sooner or later..." thank God I realised it then and changed my posts before humiliating myself with non-sensical sentences.. I remembered studying something about this during Physical and Health Studies (Pendidikan Jasmani dan Kesihatan) in school.. something about sleeping phases explaning the phenomenas while sleeping, including no recall of one's actions or dreams.. I recall something roughly like R.E.M (Rapid Eye Movement) while sleeping... creepy, maybe next time I should type a post under the same condition and see what my subconscious mind is trying to express.. freaky..

gosh, tomorow's New Year's Eve.. and I'm thinking how am I going to celebrate it.. mayb the same thing I do every year.. sit in front of the television.. switch channels.. switch more channels.. untill I find a show in my interest.. then wait till the clock strikes 12.. look out through the window.. expecting to see berserked lunatic malay motorcyclists screaming and honking speeding along the road holding and waving the malaysian flag shouting "Merdeka! Merdeka!" hoping nothing extreme's going to happen this year.. hey.... wait a minute, that's during Independence Day.. just exclude the flag and the merdeka part but there's definitely screams, honkings and shoutings.. let's see this year IF I'm getting any invitation from any of my friends to go celebrate the countdown.. sigh..

here's my new year's 2005 to-do-list,

1. study hard and score straight A's in my STPM results, wish me luck. (Impossible but Possible, gotta be confident)

2. get myself a better phone, clothes, shoes and an iPod (green). (I'll try to save up)

3. withstand and endure my depressing psychological breakdowns.

4. get involved in a relationship...... hardly. (the list goes down indicating decreased chances of occurance)

5. and last but not least, become someone.

blank brain

I think most of you guys by now should've heard about the tidal waves killing thousands of people at the Penang shore right? some Tsunami and Earthquake events.. I'm guessing it's just that Pulau Pinang was just formed during the wrong place and time and definitely NOT some Godly prophecy that the world's going to end coz that's bull shit.. I won't elaborate any further coz it's just too ridilulous..

anyway, watched Kung Fu Hustle is damn hilarious and action-packed! that is if exaggeration isn't taken into account for.. honestly it's a must see movie with the really nice effects and I've already watched it twice and it never get's boring.. guys.... go watch it..

heard the song? Kelly Clarkson's Since You Been Gone.. the first time while I was watching TRL on MTV and the song was aired, it strucked me.. I loved it.. so here's the song.. like it? it totally Rawks!! ;)

My brain is in complete sheer blank right now and I can hardly keep my eyelids up.. I guess I'd better run off to bed.. ciao

clubbing... ouch!

I wanted to post last nite, but I was too tired..

what initially planned out as a simple night supper turns out to be midnight movies, clubs, thumping music and snooker.. first a chee hong called and asked to hang out at the local hawker stall, open air, for supper.. since I had nothing to do that night, so I went.. then while sucking the straws of our soya bean drink which we just ordered.. LCC called and asked if we'd wanna go for a movie, Kung Fu Hustle.. so we all met up at McDonalds.. LCC, darren and two gurls.. and we drove to star cineplex.. from sheer luck and some mumbo jumbo persuasion we pulled off.. we managed to snatch the six rows of reserved seats forfeited due to the claim-your-tickets-45-minutes-before-the-movie-starts rule.. lucky for us.. then up till 12.30am.. the girls went home then left 4 of us.. but hey, the night is still young.

the big brained driver, chee hong had this wild idea of heading to the undisputed nest of entertainment where most kuching chinese teenagers would hang out and the pope would drop dead within 100 feet radius from the place.. Earthquake.. I wasn't so fond about the idea at first but no one listened.. gotta be kiddin me.. I could see the flashes and hear the loud heart-thumping music, "God is a Girl".. so we walked in the pub and people were smoking, dancing all around the place, be it on tables or chairs.. I felt bad and guilty actually at first backing myself against my religion.... well........... NOT!!!! haha.. to be honest, it felt pretty cool.. I can see how addictive clubbing can get on teens.. owh, and there was this hot gurl in particular doing pole dancing with only black string bras on and a christmas party cap.. hehe.. since it was a christmas night, it was a full house.. so we left for Soho instead for a drink but still it's a full house.. darn it.. even Grappa's fully packed.. sigh.. and I could barely hear normally with my ear drums exposed to around a few hundred decibels of sound from different pubs, it makes talking seem stupid.. I had to use text messaging to communicate.. sad.. well after more the night-pub-scavenging hunt subsequently to 3rd mile's Cave which was deserted and Waterworld that wasn't on duty for christmas night, we went to Liverpool, a pub in Chonglin Plaza that's situated just outside our school.. speaking about the irony of it.. LoL.. had a few drinks and my undeniably questionable ball-hitting skills on the snooker table was rather embarassing, I was never good at it.. and went home afterwards.. by then, it was about 3am in the morning.. and I just can't wait to go to bed, too tired with a headache..

I couldn't say I was proud of wad I did last nite but still it was an experience... I'd still love to try it again.. this time, prepared.. hiaks..

I lost it.. my precious casio digital watch.. my luminescent backlight motion triggering watch.. I can't believe I lost it.. u guys have no idea to what level of sentimentality it's value is to me.. for 3 years it has been on my wrist 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.. and now it's gone.. all gone.. fuck the cold blooded ocean waves, damn the laws of physics.. it got swept away from my wrist when I was at the beach yesterday surfing the waves with my buddies.. ArgH! I'm SOooOoo sad and mad at the same time.. so u guys should have a pretty rough idea wad I would want for my birthday next year right? *grins*

the 3 days 2 nights stay at Damai Lagoon was a blast.. I had so much fun spending time with my mates, I had never actually spend the night with a group of friends for a trip before so it was kinda exciting for me.. since there wasn't any girls around, no pressure, we had tonnes of fun talking and fooling around in room 303, which I think now it's the talk of the block as our room was the loudest, noisiest, undisciplined, craziest and loudest of all, did I mention loud? I mean LOUD.. also due to the fact that our rooms were between two empty ones, so it doesn't really matter..

as soon as we got our priority card room keys and entered the room, first thing we did was unpacking, getting changed heading for the swimming pool and played ball, then the classic Police and Thief chase, pool style.. kinda embarassing actually as I'm a really slow swimmer, I do know how to swim but I don't really know how to swim effectively, put it that way.. during the night, we would go for strolls along the beacch or visit nearby lounges.. a friend's cousin of ours brought an iPod and it was my first time I ever laid hands on an iPod.. the design and touch menu was awesome.. and the sound quallity is just darn good or mayb it was the headset.. hmm..argh! I want one! an amazing 20GB memory space which I know it isn't big but enough to store a LOT of mp3 songs in it.. for straight two nights, we all went to bed around 2 to 3am in the morning, and speaking of getting enough sleep.. LoL..

as for the digital camera.. I managed to capture a few shots thanks to my silly method of switching off the camera after each photo taken and other wise when taking photos.. but a friend of mine managed to capture a few photos with his camera as well, so I'll try to post some photos in my photo album (linked under myLinks) soon hopefully.. I can't really elaborate much with words but a photo means a lot more..

owh yea, and the 2nd 27th Dec Damai Beach trip was canceled.. apparently, the plannings for accomodation, food and transportation was a total disaster.. the fares and everything was too ridiculous and people were not cooperating.. so the final decision has been decided where the trip was officially canceled. Well............ at least I had fun..

Sunday, December 19

with eagerness.. I'm counting down the hours till tomorrow so I can get my lazy ass off the sofa and my eyes un-glued from the TV for tomorrow's trip and believe it or not, I had already packed my stuff last nite.. just can't wait for tomorrow.. plans for the 27th of Dec trip later is a total wreck.. each room costs RM56 and food isn't included..

fairly in my family tree, the word "equality" doesn't exist nor contribute to their judgemental aspect towards relatives, in my case, me... well except for me I dare say.. during a meal, I was forbidden to even touch or taste the tempting red crabs and later after, it was said to be "reserved" for another cousin of mine instead.. and this cousin of mine just happened to be going to KL tomorrow as well for a week trip.. and he seems to be getting all the attention.. say I'm jealous? NO.. say I'm neglected? YES.. maybe looked down on? DEFINITELY.. commonly people would see me as a regular guy with an immature brain, (more said by my aunt while getting my hair cut last Friday) most of my cousins and aunts do.. but only my close friends would understand me better, which I had none.. so all leaves it to me.. here's what I have to endure on the branches of the family tree.. I have an aunt which is the epitome of all bitches, cares for no one but herself.. in an arguement (often with myself), any form of lies and deceit are thrown out just so that she is the last woman standing kissing the butt cheeks of the trophy of victory.. and her sons.. OMFG.. damn pissing-annoying-ill-mannered jerks, one has the attitude of a stiff cold stone with the lowest altitude of all and smiling seems to be putting more effort than climbing Mt. Everest.. and another one walks like he has a broom shoved up his ass and walking seems impossible but hey, he's getting engaged soon for all that matters, Good Luck to the bride.. and another religious aunt of mine hardly seems religious at all, she praises God but acts like Satan.. Insults and sharp comments are thrown at your face with no mercy regardless of her own self related actions.. it's like being mad at urself by scolding someone else.. aint that stupid? and could I mention something? the money and cars u own and made wouldn't be following you down six feet under when the time comes as said in the bible.. so why so stingy now? it's bad for ur soul.. another leaf to endure my fact-pointing statements is my uncle.. as rich as he seems, gosh... a temper of a volcano he has.. boy, one burst of flame from him would be the coming of an Armageddon heading straight IN YOUR FACE, echoed by the loud annoying blabbering of a kiasu own-made-facts.. pitiful

although I know I'm not in the situation to judge each of my relatives.. but I'm NOT judging them.. I'm just pointin the really obvious facts straight... I don't mind them readin wad I think about them.. and neither I do give a fuck about wad their opinions they have on me coz each of us are entitled to our own opinions about a human being.. bull shit? I dun think so.. Gosh it feels SoOo Good getting it out of my system, blessed..

owh speaking about christmas.. I bought myself a little RM7.90 figurine of Mr Bean key chain as a little token of appreciation for myself.. sad but true.. I've received christmas presents since uh......... never? I don't know why gurls seem to get all the gifts during christmas instead of guys.. further proved by Ervin's last christmas shopping spree hunt for gurls-only presents.. LoL..

argh.. speaking of bad luck.. my cousin's digital camera can't be used because her friend left the darn charger in KL.. but I'll be bringing the cam there anyway, hoping to find a way to recharge the batteries.. hopefully I'll meet up some tourists or locals that uses a Canon Digital Ixus V³ camera...

I'll be away for 3 days hopefully enjoying myself.. so I'll be posting soon when I get back.. ciaoz

just got back from my short stroll along the local wet night mart mainly known as "Sunday Market" since no one wanted to go out with me.. squeezing pass the crowds and soaking my jeans wet with stenching fish fluids.. eww.. it's been like 3 to 4 years since I last visited the famous nite mart.. I still remember it was with my family during every weekends where we would go shopping and get weekly supplies and stuff.. gosh.. let's not go there before I get too emotional...

I have finally decided to resolve my dilemma of deciding whether to attend the trip to damai on the 20th or the 27th and my final conclusion is........... BOTH.. I'll be going to both so that I wouldn't be considered biased by friends which I care about.. and now I'm really cutting down my expenses just to manage myself for the trip.. it ain't easy.. I'll be posting again sunday nite before I leave for Damai on monday the 20th.. ta tah..

my mind is totally blank now.. hmm I'll just tell ya guys stuff that I can remember that happened recently, well yesterday nite after surfing the broadband waves at a local cc, as I was leaving for my car, I realised the car keys aren't in my pocket and there goes my "panic attack" going back an fourth then I saw it, it was on the dashboard inside my locked car.. LoL since it's an old toyota corolla, the back door can be opened with ANY, and I mean ANY toyota model car keys.. scary huh? luckily the cybercafe's tauke owns a toyota model van.. inserted the keys in and Presto, I'm on my way off!

just got back from watching Polar Express with a few hokkien speaking friends.. why aren't I born to speak hokkien! after the show, we had supper and everyone but me were either talking hokkien or even laughing IN hokkien and I was alienated, sigh.. anyway, Polar Express, one thing I like is the computer graphics ONLY.. if u expect more from the movie, sorry guys.. I suggest you to bring a kid for company instead..

this morning while accompanying my gramps for her medical checkup, I decided to drop by the pharmacy store and buy my Pantene shampoo hehe.. then I saw Johnson & Johnson's Clean & Clear Toner.. I have no idea what was going through my mind that instant, I just took it from the shelf and payed at the counter.. LoL.. and now I'm trying to find out how to use a toner, cleanse then tone? or tone then cleanse? or cleanse then tone and leave the toner on of should I cleanse again to wash it off? the internet aren't really doing any much help on the step-by-step ways of "How to use a Toner the Right Way".. darn.. I'm a GUY for God's sake.. something's not right, seriously

I have no single clue why I typed that last post this morning in the middle of the night.. mayb I was in a "moment"... hmm.. must've been quite a "moment" then huh?

today I served my promise to Joel, yes.. I sure did.. my grandmother prepared the traditional spicy laksa for lunch this afternoon and regardless of the dangerously hazardous and horrific effect it'll have on my face which I'll expect to see waking up tomorrow morning in front of a mirror hoping that it wouldn't break.. I still had laksa for lunch.. and I gotta admit, it tasted good, I like it.. but still I dun really like laksa though.. what can I say..? I stand by hypocrisy.. ;)

darn.. this michelle branch song has really got into my mood for these few days, tampering with every single strand of emotions I have.. listening to the song and typing this post at the same time has a weird sensational feeling of calm, sadness and disappointment.. I don't know why.. for years now, I've realised that I've been sacrificing myself a lot for all my friends no matter who, what or when.. mostly they won't be expecting a "NO" from me when my friends need me.. but when the table turns, it's all down to no one but my own self.. I had one best friend once, he backstabbed me, right through the heart and it stopped.. (figure of speech) the reason? a girlfriend's greed and selfishness for the spouse, in other terms, "LOVE".. since then I've not been able to open up to anyone again.. he was the only one best friend I trust and that was it.. Not sounding gay-ishly lame, but to have different feelings, stress, and emotions coming all at once at certain stages in your life, it's impossible for a single soul to accomodate such intangible feelings and not have an emotional breakdown or sink into depression in due time.. somehow, I've managed to hold back myself and adapt to such shades of dull colours drawn onto the canvas of my early teenage life..

damn.. this life sucks..

When you're all alone
And you need a light
Someone to guide you
Through the night
Just remember that
I am here
To hold you close and
Dry your tears
Oh, ooh

And just when you thought
You were falling
But you know I'll always
Be right there

When you're all alone
And you need a friend
Someone to help you
To the end
When you need someone
To catch you when you fall
I'll be there through it all
Oh, oh

'Cause just when you thought
You were losing
But you know
I'll always be right there

And I'll be there
Through the good times
And the bad
And we'll be there
For each other
'Cause you're the best friend
I've ever had

And just when you thought
You were falling
But you know
I'll always be right there
Oh, ooh whenever you need me
I'll always be right there.

gosh.. when I woke up this morning, it felt as if there's a durian stuck on my throat.. ugh, it was nasty but finally came through afterwards.. thank God..

recently, I have been receiving missed calls from two numbers, 0168000265 and 0124836965.. as of my curiosity filled mind of mine, I have made police report for 0168000265 in reference to Digi to trace whoever that son of a bitch is.. and again I have succeeded.. and instead of confronting this "fellow" of mine, it's payback time.. this time, it's 10 times back.. just for the fun of it.. people say I'm too paranoid, I agree.. other circumstances I can bare with, but missed calls are just too much!!! ArgH!!! and turns out 0124836965 is a guy who make calls to add more people into his friendster list, when asked where did he get my number, he said: "I simply press wan......" indeed he did and replied with an email address for friendster.. lol..

since sullivan was back for his semester holidays, we planned to go out tonight for a movie and since he hasn't watch "The Forgotten" yet.. so I went for a second time for the movie and I saw miss hiu, my math's teacher, the one who persists on further failing her students even though he/she has already failed the paper.. weird seeing teachers at movie cineplexes.. weird...

right now I'm typing this post with a terrible running nose resulting from three hours of "Alexander" fever in the cold mountain skies of India in the cinema.. and a sore throat after munching A PIECE of popcorn, when I say piece, I mean like one single round, chunky, grain of heat-popped corn.. just ONE piece and I'm as sick as an exposed SARS patient struggling for my health.. ugh.. I feel like using a shovel and dig out wadever's stuck on my throat, irritates me.. guess I'll be expecting a major post-traumatic congestion of some THING or substance between my nasal and throat area next morning when I wake up..

anyway, just got back from another movie since last wednesday's movie night.. "Alexander".. I wouldn't say that I liked the movie.. it's every student's worst nightmare, 3 hours of it.. except if u're a fan of History subject or it's just pure genuine boredom.. at least this time we have projectors showing horrific live clips of oozing blood and decapitating of limbs as well as stabbings and explicit scenes of male-to-male "mouth resuscitation" if ya get wad I mean.. in my case, it's just simply boring.. for all those who's watching soon.. Good Luck..

picture this, a rubber textured balloon repeatedly stuffed with fish, prawns, mutton, steak, brocolli, cabbages, sushi, calamari, blueberry pies, egg-tart pies, fruit cakes, desert, watermelon, honeydew, apple, mangosteen, ice cream (yam and vanilla flavour).. that's exactly how my stomach felt after undergoing 3 straight hours of forced food insertion courtesy of an all-you-can-eat buffet.. ugh.. that feeling of bloatiness is unbearable till the point that I could actually taste the food forced out to my mouth from my duodenum, guess my esofagus muscles aren't functioning as they should've.. needed a moment to sat down at the lobby for like 15 minutes before I could get my hands on the wheels again.. I knew those malay people were familiar..! One of them I recognized was Saiful Apek from the malaysian comedy stage show Senario.. if I had a camera phone, I'd have taken pictures.. that is, IF I had a camera phone..

through thorough and intense google searching for days for the song I first heard played on the trailer for AXN's showcase special The 4400.. Lisa Germano's From A Shell.. which I fell in love with it, I finally succeeded in getting my hands on the artist's name and song title as well as the mp3 files.. streaming the file by the media player link on the top right of this blog.. ;)

And the earth spins round while the people fall down
And the world stands still not a sound (not a sound)

There is love
There is love
To be found
In the worst way
In the worst way
In the worst way

It's the buzz
It's the buzz
It's the buzz
It's the buzz
It's the buzz
It's the buzz
I wish i was
It's the buzz
It's the buzz
It's the most fuzz

From a little shell at the bottom of the sea
With the earth and the moon and the sun around me
But the world fell down with some people still around

There is love
There is love
To be found
With the gods all gone and the souls making sound
In the worst way
In the worst way
In the worst way

It's the buzz
It's the buzz
It's the buzz
It's the buzz
It's the buzz
I wish i was
It's the buzz
It's the buzz
It's the most fuzz

From a little shell at the bottom of the sea
With the earth and the moon and sun around me

There is love
There is love
There is love

It's the buzz
It's the buzz
It's the buzz
It's the buzz
It's the buzz
I wish i was
It's the buzz
It's the buzz
It's the buzz

sadly yes.. I am still using dial-up acting as the only means of interaction between my pathetic computer and the digital cyber world.. downloading with speeds up to maximum speed of 3.0 kilobytes per second is driving me NUTS! I frigging need broadband!!!! arGh!! Why TMnet couldn't just send free modems to each household and install the broadband system with no service charge? darn it.. takes me about 30 minutes or more to upload or download a simple 1MB file comparatively with broadband which only takes like 5 minutes or less! AAAaaaarrRhhHHH........... I just can't stand it!

this is just so annoying....

alrite.. enough of the drama.. let's look on the bright side today.. watched "The Forgotten" today before having the guts to go back to open air for supper later with ben.. the movie's about a woman having falsely diagnosed as delusional by a conspiring psychiatrist with the government covering up the aftermath of an alien experiment done to test the mother-child bond of humans by separating a mother with her child and stripping off memories of her born son by altering lifestyles and surroundings to serve the experiment.. which in this case, Telly (Julianne Moore), mother of Sam Paretta, was an anomaly amongst all subjects of the experiment as she still have rigid memories of her "forgotten" son.. some scenes were really unexpectedly shocking and thrilling... like the instant collision with the NSA while in a dialog in the car as well as the sudden abducting "pulls" from the skies.. unlike other movies, this movie totally relates the audience with the surreal thrilling effects from the movie.. thumbs up..

"they are among us..."
