war of the worlds

watched War of the Worlds with Clarissa yesterday night at 7pm right after my PA tuition which ends at 6.30pm, thankfully she had already bought the tickets that morning before watching Initial D. I have to say though, the movie was a big let down for me externally.. not by the fact that I dun have my specs on and affected my view, but there was lack of cinematography technology involved.. I mean, yes "tripods" machines implanted in earth before the birth of man and beams "puffing" humans to ashes within their paths is truly fascinating and also tanks, missiles, rocket launchers looked like ants compared to the alien machines but finally lost to God's natural creation of microorganisms but I dun think that Steven Spielberg has actually made the movie somewhat interesting, but instead really boring.. however, internally, I applauded the fact that the story-made-movie story line written by H.G.Wells himself is truly inspiring in his own ways projected to us through the big screen.. the emotions and drama is just intense.. the human will to survive through hardship, and the significance of the often neglected natural microscopic beings which exists on earth long before the existence of man has shown it's importance to the world.. well, to sum it all up, it was a great reality check for myself for where I stand on earth.. but the movie just sucked with it's lame cinematography though.. hehe.. a 5 out of 10 for me..

after the movies, we headed to greenhill corner for a little supper then again headed to Tom's Place and had cheesecakes.. haven't been to tom's place for a long time.. there were two angmo's there as well and the owner approached them to ask them about their food and escorted them out and totally ignored us although we were the last group of people there.. we were trying to compliment on the cakes..

I lost my spectacles!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I lost my spectacles! I fucking lost my spectacles.. AGAIN! yesterday nite went to Kenneth's farewell dinner at "Tsui Hua Lou" since he's leaving for his studies on the 20th of April and met up with fenella, jovynne and han ming on the same table.. since I was out this whole afternoon wearing a cap, I had to keep my specs inside my pocket.. while getting kenneth his farewell gift in a rush.. imagine his dinner starts at 7pm and I'm purchasing the gift at 6pm so I was running from my Everise till my aunt's place just to make it in time to get dressed, however later, I knew everything's too good to be true.. so I was all set and taking my wallet, handphone and my specs when I realised I lost my specs.. I searched high and low, far and wide just to end up with nothing but wasted petrol, gasping breath and self-humiliation.. I drove this morning to King Centre where I went and I even asked the convenient store lady whether I left my specs there not to mention walking all around that area to the place I walked pass yesterday.. I also went back and fourth from Everise to my aunt's place after the dinner last nite hoping to get lucky but there was Nothing.. maybe I misplaced it, I don't know.. let's hope I did. I seem to have a history of losing my specs, it's like I'm destined not to have any eyewear ON..! even when I was using contact lenses, I still LOST it! imagine that.. and for a new pair, I lost the casing with the lenses inside! sheesh.. and u'll all start to think that I'm irresponsible, careless, pathetic, shaking ur heads and all.. I can tell that bombardment of insults and crap will soon befall on me.. well, I can gladly assure u all that this has never happened to my other stuff that I own like my wallet, my watch nor anything I go out with.. it's just the eye wear! perhaps I should resort to laser surgery next time for something permanent.. sigh

Obituary

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

we mourn here today to the demise of my dear beloved, Adidas Korfu Suede, Model No. 547443 that has descended to a life of alienation in the hands of a formidable stranger of wealth and interest on this beloved form of t human-made being. The first time I met Korfu Suede, It was shining in it's greenious glory andags with 3 baige stripes and 3 intimidating digits of numerical value resting in it's glorious shelf, but I fell in love with It. I tried it on, perfect in size and structure as though made especially for me in heaven. Green was my favourite colour, and It was green. I vowed to return and take authority on this magnificient design of elegance and beauty once I overcome the 3 numerical digits barrier but it was futile. I walked and glanced at It each time I was in the men's shoe section where I can sense It's presence. I wore various styles of jeans and pants and tried them all for compatibility and It was perfect. Today I tried It, It was perfect as usual. Then a personnel said, It was the last pair and the last size. I shattered inside, my desires, my dreams and my hope was gone as the walls of the barrier still remained towering upon me on authority, the price devoured me. I've lost Hope. A great Adidas It is and It will always remain in my heart for now and forever. Amen

the wonders of a digital camera

this week has been really interesting and somewhat busy for me since I can't even manage my time to blog.. last friday my school had our "belated" teacher's day celebration since our school agendas and semester holidays was in the way for the celebration.. I managed to get my hands on the digital camera and managed to snap a few shots of the memorable moments in class during the celebrations.. below are few of the pictures we took, for more candid and group shots and all, go to my Flickr Photo Album site.. the photos from the teacher's day celebration starts on a few pages bedind and counting down the page to recent one.. also click "here" for link to a video clip I took in school about Kah Hong who got dissed and bullied by us.. it was all just for fun and I guess he took it the wrong way.. kinda hilarious coming to think of it..

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
fried rice from Nurul...

sandwiches from Veronica...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
uh... fried mee from the canteen.. sadly

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
chicken wings from the canteen again.. sigh

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
the whole administrative staff in our class for a group photo...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
we took two..

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
freedom of food after the teachers left..

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
a group picture of the class.. I think we have the MOST good looking studs in Upper Six..

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
also, we took another one..

later that friday afternooon, me and the groupmates involved in The Star NIE competition went to Pizza Hut to redeem our FREE large Pan Pizza.. I was expected to be ther eat 3pm with the guys but instead due the the depriving number of buses in Kuching with the long wait, I only reached there around 4 where I was welcomed by only a mere single slice of Pan Pizza waiting for me surrounded by 5 other saliva-drooling vampires with stares that could kill.. so there I was having lunch.. coincidencetally, when I was on the bus to Pizza Hut.. I received an sms thanking me for topping up and I was given 31% off the regular prize for a Personal Pizza with drinks and a mushroom for only RM9.80 courtesy of being a member of Hotlink Club I guess.. so I indulged on the cheap offer and leaving the rest envious with jealousy hehe.. no hard feeling guys if u're reading this hehe.. below are some pictures I took when we're at Pizza Hut..

the grafitti on the wall in Pizza Hut.. it looked nice.. so I took a picture of it..

My Personal Pizza I ordered later..

what's left of it..

I apologize to the paid staff of Pizza Hut for our free meal..

again on that friday night kevin asked me to check out the schedule for the movie "Initial D" so I did and later we all gathered at Star Cineplex for the movie and Jay Chou I dare say is quite good in his role as the lead actor.. the drifting and everything on the custom made road of Mt. Akina is really damn cool.. I guess viewers who watched that movie will inhabit a tendency to resemble the driving way in the movie.. and I predict a significant increase in road accidents during this month.. mostly on road with curves hehe.. overall it was a cool movie and I'm going to watch it again since I promised clarissa to watch it with her when she got back from KL.. I'm a person of my word..

if anyone of u read the previous post, regarding the library penalty, they did call me and the librarian told me that the price of the book was RM71.70 but when I went on saturday afternoon, to pay the exact amount of RM71.70.. I was stunned when they told me that they hadn't add another 50% from the administration fee and yet the lady told me that everything was included total up for RM71.70! argh.. to make things even more ridiculous, I even had to pay for the delayed fine for not returning the book since last week! how obsurd can u get! so it's all 150% of the price of the book PLUS the delayed fine for a total of RM108.15 and I had to sacrifice my monthly allowance for the fucking book! Curse YOU whoever took the book!!

well anyway, I've uploaded some of the pictures I took into my Flickr Photo Album.. click here.. the photos are uploaded from the oldest to the recent.. so browse back for older photos.. will post again tonight..

blogging for me is like a personal record of distinct events and a chronological log of my life which I could read back in retrospect to my life as a comparison of who I am now to before.. during the past few hours.. I tried reading a few posts that I initially started posting as a self-proclaimed "n00b" and it was pretty embarassing and naive of me then thinking back about the posts that I posted.. a few hilarious incidents was blogged including this particular one which really sets the history for Open Air's historical "BREAK"through in table-chair destroying act and thanks to Joel and his camera phone, we were able to capture that significant moment in time.. sigh.. don't u ever wish that u could just go back into time to re-live that specific moment over an over again? gosh.. 4 months or less ahead before STPM soon and I'm still having problems in my studies and flunking subjects badly, maybe even worst compared to last year according to my posts.. it'd be a miracle if a University even labeled me as "potential candidate" let alone being accepted into one.. my life is really geting out of hand.. Fuck procrastination, fuck procrastination and FUCK PROCRASTINATION!!

I took part in The Star NIE Competition where we get to create and design our own newspaper to compete against other schools and also we get to redeem a FREE large pan pizza for every paper submitted which is due on 24th June! meaning tomorrow, and my stomache's well prepared for maximum storage of pizzas! hehe.. for tomorrow morning as well, our school's celebrating "BELATED" teacher's day since the actual teacher's day was somehow affected by the public holidays and the school's other agendas.. so I'll be bringing along my Canon Ixus V³ digital camera along tomorrow to take pictures of moments for tomorrow, will publish them soon in my Flickr photo album as well as some distinct ones along with my next post.. nites all..

my throat feels like it has been cut raw from the neck exposing my tonsils and everything u can imagine under the blazing hot sun with me lying on my back in the sahara desert.. gosh.. even the smallest muscular activity can trigger unbearable pain similar to the magnitude of a volcanic erruption.. well, maybe that was a little exaggerating but u get the idea wad I'm trying to convey here.. it's ten times worst after I wake up every morning and imagine I've been suffering since last thursday.. the pain.. the suffering..

(NOTE: this part gives a rough summary on the Batman Begins movie and my so called "review" on the movie and if you do not want me dead after I spoiled ur "mood" or ruined ur anticipation to watch where u will be expected to produce extreme hatred and even intentions of killing me, then this is the end of this post for you.. don't say I never warned you!)

last saturday nite, me and a few group of gangs, as in me AND a FEW GROUP of gangs went to watch Batman Begins.. one group on the same row, another on the east-north side and one more on the north side from where I was sitting.. well.. in the movie, the gadgets and everything gives an explanation to how they theoretically work in the batman sequel and it was pretty impressive however this does not include the batmobile or should I call it "the tank" as I think the initial design of the batmobile in the earlier version of the batman movie was way better, sleeker and obviously smaller than the present one.. also, in my opinion, the most let down part of the movie is the story line.. dissolving highly concentrated fear-stimulating hallucinogenic toxic in the water supply which will only affect people if inhaled in gas form and using an electromagnetic wave device that was initially designed to cut off the enemy's water supply during war by vapourising water molecules.. the aiming and sending off electromagnetic pulses to turn every water supply in the city into toxic hallucinogenic gas isn't really the villain-ish plot that I'd expected.. somehow, nowadays the evolving plot for the bad guys seems to be majoring in physics, biology, mechanics, or maybe all three at once.. in a nutshell, if I were given the privellege to rate the movie, I'd give a 3 out of 5..

I had the biggest laugh just now while watching the ever-so-popular Malaysian Idol when during the audition, this teenage guy gave a shot on his personal rendition of Britney Spears' I'm not a girl, not yet a woman (the gay kind) where during one of the lines in the lyrics he sang "... but if you look at me closely, you can see it in your eyes, this GIRL will always find HER way..." the cameras were aiming at the judges laughing hysterically and so did I in front of the screen.. been a long time since I last had a good laugh..

Watched Naruto till episode 132 where Naruto and Sasuke both are fighting against each other so that Sasuke can obtain the "Mangekyou Sharingan" after killing his best friend.. I just friggin like that anime, nevermind the details, just watch it.. the part in the anime that's the reason why I like it so much is the emotions and the drama the characters faced in life.. somehow similar to people like my age or younger that're living to expectations of others, at times with relationship problems, friends, and being who u are and being judged for it.. I bet people reading this post must be thinking how childish and naive I am to set interest on a mere children's cartoon but rest assured, I am sane enough to explain that this anime isn't anything remotely close to ur everyday childhood "Tom and Jerry" show.. it's way complicated than that.. and what exactly am I doing here talking about Naruto ? I do not know.. Maybe it's my overwhelming desire to continue watching naruto or I'm just really really lame.. Only God knows.. thanks for reading this pointless post..

first day of school was unhappy.. VERY unhappy.. mainly because I got back my physics paper and other subjects.. obviously my results weren't satisfactory.. no use complaining and talking about how bad I did when I myself never put in any effort to improve.. I am soo disappointed in my results especially to myself.. gosh.. school isn't as interesting as I expected it to be after two weeks of isolation from teachers, school and the uniform.. I can't bear the disappointment of another failure in my exams.. I just can't..

well two weeks of my semester holidays was well spent and well lived.. tomorrow marks the beginning of 5 agonizing months of studying and dedication to nothing but books and exercises till the concluding STPM examination for my future as well as the end of our two weeks holiday paradise.. mr khoo will still have his superior judgemental comments and arrogant personality, mr ng will still be struggling with baldness and insignificance during teaching, ms lily wee with her always recorded due-dated math exercises, ms hon siew lian and her graphical exercises and rote-teaching with depressive stares not forgetting pn. sia with her highly caffeine induced state of enthusiasm for teaching.. more insults from dearest classmates and friends again, expected since I dun even get an angstrom of respect from anyone.. yeap, life pretty much goes on in school as said.. having that said, I'd better go now, gotta get ready for tomorrow's school.. sigh

finally tonite I managed to watch "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" just now despite thursday nite's unfortunate incident during the premiere day.. I still remembered it was at 7pm when me, sullivan and wei khee were anticipating the movie in the cinema theatre watching trailers from other movies when out of nowhere the pre-show trailers came to a halt and it was all pitch black.. then we all waited patiently till 7.30pm and no trace of projected image was seen, so I called the receptionist and the she said she'll give the projector personnel a call and later after than she came in with a bunch of "cheap labours" and announced to all of the viewers that they're having difficulties with the projector and the movie is canceled and we can refund our money at the counter provided if we have our tickets.. and the crowds were all pointing fingers at the lady and I felt sorry for her for being the casualty of the technical problem.. so we refunded out money and unfortunately sullivan didn't manage to watch since it's his last day in kuching before he gets back to MMU in melaka.. instead we all had dinner at Tun Jugah's Food Gallery and headed home afterwards..

the movie was actually really hilarious and action-packed.. typical kick-ass movie with a lil twist of funny husband-wife relationship issues.. hehe I sure do hope that there's gonna be another sequel for the movie because they do make a pretty good duo..

Ugh.. each part of my body is aching like knives in my muscles.. I wanted to post something last nite but I guess I was too tired and dozed off on the couch instead.. yesterday went for a BBQ/day trip with wei khee, ken, fen, geraldine, jocelyn, yvonne, and two st joe friends, classmates of ken's.. organized by ken at his so called "island" by the beach.. when we reached there, the locks were so rusted that the key couldn't be used to open the door into the little shack.. so we might as well start making fire to burn up the charcoals outside the house.. at first we dug a hole for the barbecue pit in the sand but I guess the sea breeze was too strong had our effort put out as the fire did.. instead we used a conventional barbecue pit outside the shack and everything went on smoothly and next thing we know, the gurls were barbecueing chicken wings, lampchops and "char siew" and me on the other hand was almost dehydrated due to the lack of water and tired as hell from the wood chopping, thanks to fen for giving me her bottle of water that kept me alive.. around 5pm, the tide was high and the sound of the sea washing against the shore was too tempting, so I had my fun in the sea water alone.. then wei khee was asking for it when he dumped his first pile of sand on me from the shore then next thing you know, waging wars of coconuts, twigs and sands were projected across the sea like there's no tomorrow.. around 8 at night we went home worn out and tired as ever, with wei khee walked from our "pit stop" to my aunt's place and I sent him home..

the trip was fun but I woke up this morning with my body aching like hell at every single muscle in my body.. we took a few pictures from the trip, u guys can check it out later soon at my flickr after it's uploaded..

Wednesday, June 8

I really don't understand people nowadays.. everyone seems to think that they all have the right to change people from who they are to what they expect people to be.. people judge, insult, and ultimately annoy people all the way till their guts and never experience a single guilt about it.. and sometimes I seriously wonder hard how they manage to get a decent shut eye every night after their irrational statements/comments of torment to that one person because personally, I can't.. and yes I admit it, I had a few inflicted emotional-bashings myself but this goes on a more general view of the public instead of me alone.. one thing I applaude on myself is that my sensitive character dominates my whole personality to become more conscious of other people's feelings and this is often perceived by the public as non-masculine or should I say not manly enough for being a guy, and my respond to that is "fuck off! and screw you! because I don't give a FUCK on what u guys think". Sometimes when I'm in those days where I just get so pissed off about the smallest little thing and I'll turn someone's sunday morning into "judgement day" intentionally but I couldn't live up to the guilt that I had just insulted a person, a friend, a human and I would apologize to settle off the unbearable guilt from my conscience.. but some fucktards went on through the day as if it was all in a day's work for them regardless of what they did.. and this really trips me off like a rampaging bull.. at times, friends often treat me as a push-over due to my amazing level of tolerance who just sucks in wadever comments bombarded at them like a bullet through water.. at times when I'm just in a conversation with friends or wadever, I would be the first one to get dissed on, NOT because I dun possess a single sense of sarcastic humour and believe me, I AM able to differentiate between sarcasm and being serious.. my every gesture and actions would trigger an insult to myself hurtful enough to make u low for the whole afternoon and that's how sensitive I get, why do they do this? only God knows.. I'll just look away from the people of crappy comments and talk about other stuff or approach a neutral friend to start over another coversation completely ignoring that they'd actually said a single word, no doubt my only single form of escape for being in denial.. Sometimes it's better off being alone rather than being with people around you that take u for granted for who u are and find it troublesome to give you a lil respect for being a friend.. well, though I'm not that of a "saint" myself, but somewhere deep down inside I still have hope that every human is good in nature and there's good in everyone... NOT!

Tuesday, June 7

yesterday, for the 4th time, I have returned to the Emergency Room at General Hospital.. again.. the fourth time! there's no other civilians who knows their way around the hospital as well as I do, guaranteed.. my grandma was admitted to the hospital due to severe tiredness similar to being unconscious as she couldn't react to anything resulting from low glucose level in the blood, after immediate mineral infusion, she was fine.. I had planned to watch "Infection" later that evening around 7 but I guess things just happen.. went out with my friend for supper instead..

I lost a library book.. last sunday after our weekly grocery shopping, as I was unloading the fish-scented vehicle of groceries, since that day was the due date for return, I made every little chance I had to finish that book.. so I left the book on top of the car while working my way to a hand full trying to carry the groceries. I closed the door with my elbow and walked away, completely forgetting the book on the car! later after that, I decided to continue reading where there started a massive book hunt for the book.. and soon I realised that I left it on the car and someone had taken it or done something to it.. I called the library and the personnel said that they'd check the price of the book and charge me the exact price of the book with a ridiculous additional charge of 50% off the price of the book, in other words, I have to pay 150% the price of the friggin book as my penalty..! to make things more utterly outrageous, the book was from Britain titled "The Book Of Heroic Failures" and the exchange rate is times 6.8 of the price to convert to Malaysian ringgit! roughly a few hundred ringgit the least! some luck I had huh? they gave me a 2 week delay for me to "look" for the misplaced book, protocol.. and how on earth do they expect me to find the book when someone took it away!?! Deciding now whether I should forget about the damn thing with 2 weeks of deep consideration.. damn..

well this week marks the second week of the 2 weeks semester holidays.. extra chemistry class every morning till noon for 2 hours.. enough fun for one week.. now I've really gotta dedicate myself to studying if I really want to do well in my life..

Thursday, June 2

Actually planned to post last nite/this morning but after I woke up like around 2.30am and realised that all my browsers were closed and the post I typed was un-retrievable then I had it put to sleep and head off to bed instead.. well watched a nice movie last nite on 8TV, "Never Been Kissed" the movie starts off with a 25 year old woman working on her first job as a news reporter being undercover as a high school student trying to scoop up some hot story and ended up trying to fit in as she was trying to when she was 17 and fell in love with one of the teacher and the movie ends with the most touching baseball match ever.. these are movies that are worth the work done to watch.. the first movie ever that managed to bring tears to me was this movie of two little kids who were best friends since young and one day the boy was trying to retrieve the "moon ring" that the girl lost and accidentally bumped into a bee hive and he was stung by swarms of bees and died of the stings.. that was during beginning of high school and I remember that it had me teared everytime I thought of the two best friends.. ahh.. classic movies are the best..

went to watch the dreadful remake of the classic movie "House Of Wax" yesterday afternoon with wei khee.. obscenity, violence, sex, gore are everything u can imagine with a cast like paris hillton in a thriller movie.. this movie makes movies like "one missed call" or "juon" seem like crap.. the murder-killing scenes were so horrifying and gruesome that I freaked out on the first "cutting" scene.. but after that, things seem to be normal enough for me to continue the experience.. Ugh.. Parents, kids should NOT watch this unless u want them to grow up indulging in their careers as a serial-murder/wax-sculpturist living by the feeling of satisfaction OR spending the rest of their lives in a mental institution recovering from post-traumatic shock owing all to severed body parts and insidious waxing of the human body while alive..

I'm glad I survived the movie.. so more movies to be expected, especially "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" and "Fantastic Four"..
