my thoughts

Last night I just had a short controversial conversation with a good friend of mine about everything ranging from sensitive issues from my point of view and a religious perspective which got my mind stirred and I just couldn't ignore what's going on inside my head and not blogging about it.

Our society are fueled by stereotypes set by us humans ourselves and we couldn't help but blindly set into our minds to what's perceived by us as being normal or abnormal. The thing that troubled me a lot from a religious point of view is drawing a fine line in between what's acceptable and what's unacceptable including where limits exists upon that line to determine what we can accept as being "normal" and "weird". Since when do we have the right to draw that line? and who are we to determine what is the norm of humans and what is categorized as being "freaks"? It's really sad that people are unable to be who themselves are born to be in nature but forced to live by the dreadful and ugly labels of society in respect to that fine line stated in religious texts (which are also written by the humans).

What I said above may be controversial to a few people who are reading this but it's just what I truly think is the fundamental basis of all ugly forms of discrimination, be it at racism or homosexuality. It's sad that most of us choose to follow these stereotypes and judge.

It just bothers me.
