Racial Injustice, an Act of Stupidity

I never knew such impertinent, disgraceful act of stupidity would be present in university life. Have a look at what I found out this morning when I opened my door.

Our uni was having an election campaign to elect the new batch of the MPP (Majilis Perwakilan Pelajar) similar to electing student body representatives for corresponding faculties. We had paper banners hooked on strings and flyers distributed in our hostel area. One of the competing candidates was my housemate's friend, so he had his flyer pasted in front of our apartment door as an act of support. That was last night. This morning when we were getting ready to leave for class, I opened the door and this was what we saw. If looked closely, there are orange highlight writings on the paper which says "BUDAK X TaU MALU DAH LA X ENSEM X DE TALENT NK JADI LEADER, ADE HATI NAK PARTICIPATE". Even typing out that text undermines my sense of morality.

I won't start pointing fingers and blindly accuse anyone of doing it but I guess the culprit is pretty obvious based on the writings. Judging from this, I can directly imply to the UPM incident. Is this what the Malaysian government condone in our youth nowadays? Has political democracy finally be a thing of the past?

I have nothing further to say...

That's scary... It's more thuggery than democracy.

What racism? Are you plucking ideas out of thin air?

If I must say, the candidate competing is an indian.

For years the MPP board have only been consisting of Malays, Malays and none but MALAYS. We as the new batch are trying to break the chain for a new start.

THAT'S WHY I did not mention the word "malay". Instead I said "but I guess the culprit is pretty obvious based on the writings"

And I for sure isn't plucking ideas out of thin air. As for being biased, talk to the malays who wrote them, not me.

Perhaps I might be more straight-forward in my future entries instead and offending others rather than being protective as I were.

Btw, thanks for ur comments lao chen and Halian.
