first snow with a little humility and patience

I bet u guys have already seen my new flash blog header right? Since we can't get snow here in Malaysia (aside from a few occasional hail storms), instead I brought the snow for u guys right here in my blog!... I guess that came off a little corny.

The blog header was supposed to be a tease and I don't know whether u guys get the message or not. Just so u guys know, it's the first ever flash header that I've used actionscript instead of the conventional motion tweening, something like using a lighter to light a candle rather than using sparks from rocks. So any comments on the header before I finalize it for Christmas? If u do, the chatterbox is always there for a reason *grins*

Anyway, my internship at my cousin's company has been going well and I dare say that I handled things better than the last time I worked there in secondary school and I realized how immature and naive my personality was back then at handling pressure and criticism. Having that said, I am grateful that back then I never had the balls to handle them, and let it shape me to who I was for the next few years. That was a pivotal moment in my life where I learned the true meaning of the words humility and patience, not to mention how it changed how I treated my friends back then in form 5. Believe it or not, back then I was a pretty pain the ass in the eyes of some of my peers (further elaboration not required), and having the "favour" returned by ur boss and peers was a big slapping reality check and made me realise that the world did not revolve around me but rather me being on the same plane with everyone.

That's when I really learned how to respect others for who they are, what they have to say, how they behaved, and not interrupting when they were talking, not using their words against them knowing the significance of each point they were trying to make, or even ridiculing them for what they said. This realization made me even more judgmental on the people around me whether I like it or not. As respect works both ways, I expect nothing less from the people around me. So if a person disrespects themselves by disrespecting others, I don't really see the need to justify myself to prove how wrong they were because they just proved it themselves.

This wraps up another day, tomorrow's work day and here I am going out for the movie IP Man. Anyway, more entries to come! Remember to leave some comments on my new flash header aight? Toodles!
