Football Fever

I must admit, I've gradually starting to grow interest towards football and it's really worries me that I might evolve into a football fanatic in extreme circumstances in the future. NOOooooo...

12 years back, I still remember watching football thinking of it as a meaningless game between 11 people kicking each other's legs to snatch the ball and kicking it into a big net guarded by someone who would kill just to prevent the ball from entering, simple as that. Now 12 years later, curious about what the commotion's all about, I decided to watch the first match between Germany against Costa Rica. Gosh the thrill and the rush when the lifeles ball are being passed on and struck goal where faces of the players, the crowd, the coaches lights up with joy needless of prozac. The kicks and techniques. The close-calls (OWwwwwww, damn!). It was then I understand why football can be so addictive and fun at the same time (leave the betting fiesta aside lah).

Can't wait to watch the match between Brazil and Croatia at 3am later. Brazil!

p/s:
I just found out the acronym world "FIFA" actually stands for "Fédération Internationale de Football Association". How embarassing can it get?
