it's been a while

The last time when I had this much fun was during secondary school when I attended this camp trip to sibu for 3 days and that was the period of my life. I recalled my team had the most fun, and to top it off, we won the best group throughout the games with the highest scores back then.

Yesterday, our faculty's chinese seniors o
rganized a gathering in conjunction with the mooncake festival celebrations. I was reluctant to attend at first but glad that I did at the cost of my assignments which are all due this week!.

We had lantern riddles to be solved, called "cai deng mi" in chinese.
They even had english version of the game. Having being the not-very-expert-in-chinese-guy, I copied a few answers from others for the chinese version and took a shot at the english verison.

When they announced the winners for the english version and proceeded to the chinese version winners, I knew my chances were over. To my shock, my name was called. They gave me this,

wah! been years since I got a present!
and I ended up with this...

...... did they expect a girl to win?

Franky, the main reason why I decided to attend the function was to get to know the faculty seniors and build some relations with them for a start. Before the seniors and juniors were like complete strangers, no verbal greeting nor any hand gestures what-so-ever and this issue wouldn't have been resolved if it weren't for this gathering.

Loads of shots taken on that night, will try to find some of them to publish them into my flickr soon.

Lastly, an informal thanks all the seniors who were involved in organizing that night's gathering for all their efforts. ALSO, not forgetting my coursemates who were willing to let me copy the answers for the riddle.

Looking forward for next year!
