The first day was just lazing around the residential area, we rode bicycles and chong kai's place had so many bicycles we looked like 21 year old kids attempting to look 10 years younger by taking on a bicycle ride. For my case, I was the passenger (not that I had any choice) and chong kai was my "chauffeur". Mind you, I haven't ride a bicycle since form 2.
parental advisory indeed
Next morning we walked to the known mangrove forest called "Hong Shu Ling" near chong kai's (the 2nd from the right) place and snapped a few shots, the walk took us almost 20 mins.

floating on water! Then on the afternoon, we headed off to the sea on one of the fisherman's boat, it was the most memorable experience. The gushing wind thudding on your face with the cool breeze and the splashing river water, I'd give anything to have that experience again.. However, in the end, most of us got sun burnt or had two shades of tones, and yea I became a human breed of a zebra with two tones of shades on my arm. Got a glimpse of wild dolphins which was rare but couldn't get close enough for a photo. As usual we took a few shots.
before you say "bon voyage"!

don't u wish you could feel it?
It was an experience, then we roamed the area for a while and headed back for a few tid bits. Woke up with a back ache the next morning and went mountain hiking at bukit larut and visited Taiping zoo after the hike.
pit stop after 45 mins hike, haven't even reach half the mountain

We had a barbecue the next night for the day before leaving Taiping and back to Malacca.
cheers!
savouring our chicken wings and sausages
any longer, our faces was about to be burnt while posing for this shotWe even had the opportunity to show off our cooking skills including Huey Yee and Wei Ee. However in the end, we were the ones trying to finish up the food instead -_-"...
Apart from the barbecued chicken wings and sausages along with the fried french friess and nuggets, we literally had a seafood frenzy everyday with crabs and shrimps for each meals during the whole stay at Taiping.
oh no..! seafood... *gulp*
I'd really wanna express my gratitude to Chong Kai for letting us stay at his place till their family had to cramp in a single room just so they could accomodate us.
the whole gang
Overall, the trip was a blast. It gave us the opportunity to put aside all our differences or competitiveness to dwell on what real bonds and true relationships really means. Personally I've seen sides from each of the people that I've never realize they had in then when we were in Taiping compared to when they were in class.
Hopefully next time we'll be going for more trips in the future, and maybe even crossing the South China Sea over to Kuching, that'd be fun.
