Those who knows me personally would know that I was never into politics, but what I read triggered something in my brain that I had to put those fingers into good use. I myself as a student studying in a local higher institution in Malacca have always had a good and fair impression on the developement of Malacca and it's calm-paced life that reminds me of my hometown in Kuching. Among many reasons why I'm glad Malacca was how it is, I've always given credit to Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam on his governance.
Having read a snippet quoted from him blaming the people of Penang for the loss of BN in the general elections on NST and putting the responsibility on the people's head, I guess I was wrong.
Just to make things worst, he urged all major projects in Penang to be halted to victimize the people of Penang on the lost of BN for what he thinks the people allegedly "wants" so the next general elections would be a realization of their mistakes?
That's just shallow, really shallow...
The day was usual, studies for next week's tests, checking my mail and updating my blog for any updates like I always do and as I was surfing through petalingstreet.org and new straits times, I bumped into a few links from bloggers and this article here regarding the UMNO vice-president Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam selaku chief minister of Malacca (Ketua Menteri Melaka) on his comments made regarding the loss of BN in the general elections in Penang.

Supporting the call by Umno Penang for all BN mega projects in Penang be stopped, Umno vice-president Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam put the blame on voters who decided that they did not want the major projects by voting in for the opposition.
"We have to stop all major projects to Penang as this is what the people wanted. If we continue with the project it would be almost impossible for us to regain control of the State in the next General Elections,” the Malacca Chief Minister said.
"If we stop all major projects, the people would realise what they had lost and would then come back to the BN. This is the only way we could recapture the State in the future from the opposition," he told reporters after visiting the Menara Taming Sari project near Dataran Pahlawan along Jalan Merdeka, here, today.
The proposed Penang mega projects include those planned under the Northern Corridor Economic Region (NCER), the second Penang Bridge, the light monorail transit system, the Penang Outer Ring Road, the Penang Sentral and the RapidPenang bus service.
"The people in Penang have clearly rejected development and they want a change," he said.
In the March 8 polls, Umno only won two parliamentary seats and 12 state seats in Penang.

The person who made that statement obviously still doesn't learn the lesson. Let him talk what he wants, but people are now smarter than years ago, and we will judge things by ourselve. Just hope DAp won't disappoint us.
BTW we would know if federal government really call off or being a stick in the ass on Penang development.

OMG.. This sounds more like a warning to me then trying to re-gain control over Penang. This BN is really bo tak chek..
