saya masih lagi anak Malaysia

I was down with influenza along with the full package of all those aches, sores, weird climate reactions and f*cked up mood swings for the past few days. It was unexpectedly surprising and touched to see the amount of friends who responded to my "sick" display message in msn, enough for me to wish that I was sick every single day. Believe me, it wasn't intentional. I was so touched to the extent that I felt as if I was sexually molested.

Despite all that, it did not stop us from stepping out of the house and jumping on the bandwagon with all Malaccans to celebrate Malaysia's Independence day. However, I was rather disappointed this year because unlike the previous years when MITC (Melaka International Trade Center) had countdown live on national TV with firework displays, nothing significant happened this year. Well, maybe it's just me along with the other hundreds of people waiting at MBMB (Majilis Bandaraya Melaka Bersejarah) and MITC.

Nevertheless, the burning patriotism in the Malaccan people can be witnessed from the group of kampung road bikers to the dim sum stall taukenios in Jonker Walk.

See?

Happy Belated Birthday Independence Malaysia.

p/s: Thanks to all those that msged me, I'm gradually recovering and to those who thought that the lady in the photo was me, see carefully leh! since when I got boob clevage!?!?!
